MFPA and Floriana continue their winning streaks in the VMFA Malta Premier League.
MFPA beat Birkirkara St Helen’s 8-3, taking a one-point lead over Floriana. George Frendo scored a hat-trick for MFPA, while Stanimir Miloskovic and Mark Zammit each scored twice, and Branko Nisevic also added a goal. Birkirkara’s goals came from Mark Gauci, Malcolm Camilleri, and Jean Pierre Mifsud Triganza. The match was refereed by Paul Apap.
Floriana faced a tougher challenge against Luxol but secured an 8-6 victory. Ryan Darmanin and Bojan Kaljevic each scored a hat-trick for Floriana, with Manolito Micallef adding two more. Luxol’s goals came from Glenn Bonello, who scored twice, Alan Tabone, Gary Inguanez, Karl Sacco, and an own goal by Micallef. The referee was Lorry Sammut.

Gżira United defeated Żurrieq Wolves 2-1, with goals from Romeu Romao and Ian Zammit, while Mario Camilleri scored for Żurrieq. Lorry Sammut officiated the match.
Rabat Veterans won 14-4 against Hibernians in a high-scoring encounter. Adam Smeir scored five goals, Timothy Zammit added four, and Daniel Cremona completed a hat-trick. Hibernians’ goals came from Andre Scicluna, who scored twice. Paul Apap was the referee.
