MFPA strengthened their position at the top of the Malta Veterans Premier League after defeating Luxol St Andrew’s 13-5 in a high-scoring encounter. Alexander Ribic was the standout performer for MFPA, scoring seven goals, while Stanimir Miloskovic added four. Jonathan Bondin and Emanuel Sevasta also contributed to the victory.
Luxol St Andrew’s scored five goals, including a hat-trick from Dylan Musu and two goals by Karl Sacco. The match was officiated by referee Jonathan Balzan.
In other league action, Rabat Veterans secured their first three points of the season with an 8-4 win over reigning champions Gżira United. Rabat showed strong attacking play, which unsettled the defending champions. Andy Mangion scored a hat-trick for Rabat, while Adam Wingfield and Adam Smeir each added two goals. An own goal by Pio Schiriha also contributed to the total.
