The 2025 MotoGP season has started on a difficult note for reigning world champion Jorge Martin and Aprilia. During the first day of official testing at the Sepang circuit, the Spanish rider experienced a heavy fall at Turn 2, resulting in injuries to his left foot and right hand. Martin was immediately taken to the medical centre for initial examinations and was later transferred to Nilai Hospital, located 6 kilometres from the circuit, for further assessment
