Floriana Veterans have won the VMFA Malta Premier League after a dominant 5-0 victory over MFPA in the decisive match played at the Mediterranean College of Sport in Birkirkara.
Floriana went into the game determined to secure the title after narrowly missing out last season to Gżira United. This time, they controlled the match from the start and gave their opponents very little chance.
Captain Manolito Micallef opened the scoring with a header. Before half-time, Bojan Kaljevic added a second, and Micallef struck again to make it 3-0.
In the second half, Kaljevic completed his brace, while substitute Ryan Darmanin added the fifth goal to seal an emphatic win.
After the match, Malcolm Camilleri, president of the Veterans Malta Football Association, presented the trophy to captain Micallef.
In another match, Rabat Veterans finished their season in style with a 12-0 win over Żurrieq Wolves. Adam Smeir scored an impressive nine goals, while Andre Scicluna added a hat-trick.

Rabat ended the season in fourth place with 19 points.
