Floriana FC have added another name to their squad ahead of the 360Sports Malta Premier 2025/26 season with the signing of Lucas Lopez, a 31-year-old defender who spent last season at Marsaxlokk.
Born in Argentina, Lopez brings plenty of experience from his time with clubs such as Douglas Haig, Deportivo Maipú, Platense, and Rangers Talca.
His arrival is one of several new signings for Floriana this summer, as the club looks to build a strong side under their new Portuguese coach Daniel Portela.
Floriana are set to play Haverfordwest County AFC of Wales in the first qualifying round of the Europa Conference League.
