Zak Barbara also in Micallef’s squad for next season
Valletta FC have just announced that Zachary Cassar will be staying on board for the upcoming season, continuing his journey with the club after he played with them in the 2024/25 season in the BOV Challenge League.
After making 25 solid appearances last season, Cassar proved himself to be a reliable and consistent presence on the pitch. His commitment, work ethic, and determination have earned him the respect of both teammates and supporters alike. Known for his composed style and dependable performances, he has become a key figure in the squad and a true representation of the club’s values. Cassar is a left footer and can be utilized by coach Thane Micallef as both central defender and left flanker and also in left midfield
As Valletta looks ahead with ambition, they have also confirmed that Zak Barbara will also be in the 2025/26 squad. Valletta FC will be playing in the Malta Premier after last season’s short experience in Malta’s first division tier.
