The Malta Dancesport Association will host an international DanceSport competition on Friday 6th and Saturday 7th March 2026. The event is officially recognised by the World DanceSport Federation (WDSF) and has already attracted 23 nations.
Top-ranked professional and amateur dance couples from around the world are expected to compete, including participants who regularly take part in major international and World Open events. Over 300 athletes are registered, making it one of the largest DanceSport competitions held in Malta.
The competition will run on Saturday from 12:00 to 22:00, with the most visually exciting moments expected in the evening. The International Parade of Athletes will take place at around 18:00, offering striking footage and photographs for broadcast and media coverage.
The Malta Dancesport Association has invited local media to attend and capture highlights of the event, as well as interviews with participants and officials.
