The Malta Tang Soo Do Association made the island proud again with great success at an international martial arts competition in Belfast. The event brought together fighters from countries like Ireland, Northern Ireland, England, Scotland, Finland, Italy, and the United States.
Despite tough competition, Team Malta did really well, winning 39 medals from just 33 competitors in three main categories: Forms, Sparring, and Weapons.
Natalie Cuschieri stood out by winning the Grand Champion title in the Senior Female Division, showing her skill and hard work.
That wasn’t all, eight Maltese students passed their Black Belt exams, some reaching high Dan levels, marking an important step in their martial arts careers and boosting Malta’s place in the international Tang Soo Do community.
Master Wallace, who has been teaching and promoting Tang Soo Do in Malta since 2000, said he was very proud of his students.

“This success comes from years of hard work and sticking together. Tang Soo Do is not just about winning, it’s about building strong character, discipline, and confidence for both children and adults,” he said.
The Malta Tang Soo Do Association’s success in Belfast shows how dedication and teamwork can bring worldwide recognition to a small but passionate country.
