Last weekend, the Ħ’Attard International Open took place, with several Maltese athletes competing.
Jurgen Balzan won the Open category, beating Mauro Camilleri in the final. Spencer Conti and George Ebejer reached the semi-finals.
In the Veterans category, Charlie Aquilina took the title after defeating John Zammit in the final. Jason Pisani and Stanley Farrugia Randon were the semi-finalists.
In the Under-16 category, Robert Farrugia Randon claimed victory by beating Gabriel Ebejer in the final. Luke Xerri finished in third place.
The next major event for the Maltese athletes will be the Major in Athens, Greece, taking place later this month. This trip is made possible thanks to the support of SportMalta and the Malta Olympic Committee.
