Malta will welcome Europe’s best table football players this weekend as it hosts the ECSTFA European Championships 2025. Teams and players from fifteen countries arrive on Friday for what is billed as the most prestigious event in this year’s calendar.
The draws will be held on Friday, 19 September at the La Valette Band Club in Valletta at 19:30. Competition play will then move to the playing hall of the Ħal Kirkop Sport Complex.
Saturday features the individual competitions, starting at 09:00. The team competition follows on Sunday, also kicking off at 09:00.
The Malta Table Football Sports Association has called on the public to turn out in numbers, noting that Malta is considered among the favourites across all categories. The Association said the event will be a showcase of the game many grew up playing and urged supporters to attend and get behind the home players.
