Malta have won the World Team Shootout Event. In a thrilling final, the Maltese Falcons edged past Wales 5-4, securing their first title after finishing runners-up in the previous four finals.
The team was made up of Miguel Amato, Owen Amato, Johan Attard, Clayton Castaldi, Lydan Debono, Dejan Grech, Ryan Pisani and Chris Zaffarese.
Clayton Castaldi played a crucial role, winning the decisive frames in both the semi-final and the final.
It was a solid team performance from start to finish, and the Maltese team fully deserved the win.
Malta are back in action today as the World Championships continue.
