The final round of the year in Maltese futsal delivered a full schedule of matches across both the men’s and women’s championships, bringing the calendar year to a close with clear leaders in each competition. University of Malta Futsal finished the year at the top of the men’s standings, while Zero Sei Futsal maintained their position as leaders in the women’s league.
Men’s Championship
The men’s championship featured several decisive results. Santa Venera Lightnings Futsal recorded their first win of the season with an 8-2 victory over Futsal Selection Under 19. The outcome was largely decided in the opening half, as Santa Venera built a four goal lead before the break.
University of Malta Futsal continued their consistent form with an 11-0 win against GŻR Birżebbuġa St Peter’s Futsal. Argentine player Cristian José Fernández scored 5 goals in the match. Luxol St Andrews Futsal also remained unbeaten after registering a 17-4 victory over Żejtun Corinthians Futsal WA, with Brazilian forward Ferreira contributing 5 goals.
In a match with implications for the upper end of the table, Marsaskala Futsal Legends secured a 9-3 win over Sliema Futsal Fort Fitness. Schembri scored 3 goals as Marsaskala preserved second place in the standings.

Women’s Championship
The women’s championship also produced notable results in the final round of the year. Parn Mela Rockets Futsal earned their first point of the season after coming back from a four goal deficit to draw four all against St George’s Futsal.
Luxol Sports Club Futsal Argus continued their strong campaign with a 4-1 win over Swieqi United Futsal LECO7, strengthening their hold on second place. League leaders Zero Sei Futsal closed the year with a 9-0 victory over St Andrew’s Futsal, extending their unbeaten run in the competition.
