Synchro Knights returned to Malta after competing at the Spring Harmony International Meet, held in Łódź, Poland between 6 and 8 March. The event marked the first edition of the competition and featured artistic swimming clubs from several European countries.
The international meet provided young athletes with the opportunity to compete at a higher level and gain experience in a structured competitive environment. Synchro Knights represented Malta with a delegation of 21 athletes, participating in solo, duet and team routines across multiple age groups.
The club recorded several podium finishes. The 12 and Under team placed second in the Team Free Routine, while the 13 to 15 team secured third place in their Team Free Routine. In the Junior category, Emily Ruggier finished second in the Junior Solo Technical event.

The athletes were supported by Artistic and Technical Coordinator Laura Marquez Urrego, alongside coaches Hailey Ellul and Alessia Cardona Taliana. Valentina Marchi attended the competition as both coach and Technical Controller, while Jeremy Farrugia served as a judge.
The competition also included an official evaluator, whose role is to monitor judging panels, compare scores and provide feedback to ensure consistency and adherence to international standards. This process supports the development of judging practices and the overall quality of competitions.
The Spring Harmony International Meet was organised by the Harmonia Foundation. Synchro Knights acknowledged the organisers for delivering the inaugural edition and expressed appreciation to Monika Szczesniak for her role in coordinating the event.

Club President Claire Blake highlighted the preparation undertaken by the athletes and coaching staff, noting that the results reflect sustained training efforts. The competition also provided an opportunity for athletes to perform alongside international teams, contributing to their development and experience.
Synchro Knights continues to contribute to the growth of artistic swimming in Malta by providing training and competition pathways for athletes. The club will now prepare for the 4th Artistic Swimming Open National Championships, scheduled to take place from 8 to 12 April in Victoria, Gozo.
