Gżira United recorded their fourth consecutive win in the YoHealth Malta Premier after coming from behind to beat Tarxien Rainbows 2-1 at the Victor Tedesco Stadium.
Tarxien Rainbows took the lead in the 45th minute through Huanne Nhaysonn Da Silva Rosa.
Gżira United equalised in the 82nd minute with a goal by Andre Penha da Costa.
The winning goal came in the 87th minute, when Gabriel Bohrer Mentz scored from the penalty spot to secure the victory for Gżira United.
With this win the Maroons kept their place at the top of the Bottom 6 table with 22 points, 2 above Hibernians.
