Ahead of Wednesday’s Bottom 6 match in the YoHealth Malta Premier, both Mosta and Żabbar St. Patrick spoke about the importance of the game at the MD-1 press conference.
Żabbar captain Brian Gambarte said his side felt they played well in their previous match against Birkirkara but were let down by a lack of goals. He said the upcoming match is like a final for both teams and stressed the need to stay positive.
Head coach Gilbert Agius said his team controlled possession in recent games but were not clinical enough. He added that the squad is working hard and believes results will improve if performances continue.
From the Mosta camp, player Emmanuel Prince said the team must stay focused and give 100% in what he expects to be a very tough match. He added that the squad believes in its ability to get a positive result.

Technical director Mario Muscat said it has been a difficult season, but the team has worked hard during the break to prepare. He said the margin for error is now very small and described the match as crucial in their fight to avoid relegation.
The game will be played at 8:30PM at the Tony Bezzina Stadium.
