Valletta midfielder Jake Azzopardi has been named the LifeStar Insurance Most Valuable Player for March.
He delivered excellent performances throughout the month, playing an important role in Valletta’s 3-1 win over Tarxien Rainbows and the key 1-1 draw against Marsaxlokk.
These results have greatly improved Valletta’s chances of qualifying for European competition next season through the standings accumulator system.
The MVP trophy was presented to Jake Azzopardi on Wednesday, ahead of the match against Naxxar Lions, by LifeStar Insurance senior official Jonathan Camilleri.
