Newcastle winger Anthony Gordon has pulled out of the England squad for Monday’s World Cup qualifier against Latvia after picking up a hip injury.
The 24-year-old came on as a late substitute for Marcus Rashford during Friday’s 2-0 win over Albania at Wembley, earning his 10th England cap.

After the match, England manager Thomas Tuchel said the injury was “a bit worrying.” Gordon had a scan on Saturday and has since returned to his club for further checks.
