Zeljko Obradovic, the coach of the Partizan basketball team, after the defeat by Real Madrid in the Euroleague quarter-finals, pointed out that he is proud of his team.
The coach of the “black-and-whites” pointed out that his team lost control of the game, and because of that, dropped an 18-point lead at one point.
“This team has character and always shows it. I am proud of my team, we played great basketball. We lost control of the game and that’s the reason. Kevin Punter’s last shot was good, as was the previous one by Zekov (Ledejev). But that’s basketball,” Obradovic said.
At halftime, Partizan had a 55:39 lead, and at one point even an 18-point difference, but failed to save them.
