Swieqi Phoenix NIUM have been crowned winners of the volleyball National Cup after beating Falcons 3-0 in the second final of the series.
The victory completed a clean sweep of both finals, with Swieqi Phoenix winning each one by the same convincing scoreline of 3-0.
The win caps off a remarkable month for the team, who had already secured the Superleague title mathematically in recent weeks. The National Cup triumph now means they have completed an incredible league and cup double, a fantastic achievement for the club.
The National Cup was presented to the team after the match by Malta Volleyball Association President Branko Vlahovic.
Club President Orlando Bonnici congratulated both the players and coaching staff on their success, and took the opportunity to thank title sponsors NIUM for their generous support and loyalty over the past five years.
