Last weekend marked the first round of the Belgian Table Football Championship, where Maltese player John Zammit represented ST Stembert.
ST Stembert had an exceptional start to the championship, finishing the first round unbeaten after seven matches. Zammit played a pivotal role for his team, participating in all the games and contributing significantly to their success.
With these results, ST Stembert secured third place in the standings. The second round of the championship is scheduled for May next year, where they will aim to improve their position.
The participation of Maltese athletes in international competitions like this continues to be possible thanks to the support of SportMalta and the Maltese Olympic Committee.
