Last weekend the FISTF Major of Paris was organised.
On Saturday there were the individual competitions.
The results from the individual competitions were as follows;
Derek Conti – Barrage
Jurgen Balzan – last 32
Joseph Borg Bonaci – last 32
Samuel Bartolo – last 16
Pascal Scheen – Semifinalist
Teams competition were on Sunday. Valletta SC passed first in
group after winning against the teams of Issy and Huy both with
the score of 4-0. Last 16 was played against the Belgian team Lions
Eugies 2-1. The Quarter final was played vs the Spanish team Tiburones
2-1. The semifinal was against SC Salernitana and Valletta SC won 2-1.
The final was played against the Italians of Bologna Tigers, were Valletta
SC lost 0-3. The team was composed of the captian Samuel Bartolo,
Derek Conti, Jurgen Balzan, Joseph Borg Bonaci, Massimiliano Nastasi
and Pascal Scheen.
Valletta Subbuteo club will be participating in the International Open of
Malta in the last weekend of this month.
