Several Italian media is reporting that Maltese champions Ħamrun Spartans are interested in signing Jérémie Broh from Italian club Perugia.
Broh, 24, is an Italian-Ivory Coast midfielder who can play both central and defensive roles. He started his youth career at Coopnordest before joining Parma’s academy in 2007, staying until 2015.
Broh has spent most of his professional career in Italy’s lower leagues. He joined Perugia in January 2025, where he is under contract until June 2026 just six months remaining. The club is run by ex-Floriana president Riccardo Gaucci and coached by Giovanni Tedesco, who has previously managed Ħamrun Spartans and several other Maltese sides.
Reports also mention strong interest from Gubbio, another Italian side, who are said to be serious contenders to sign Broh. Despite the Maltese interest, Italian sources suggest Broh could remain in Umbria for the remainder of the season.
Broh has made eight appearances so far this season and is known more for his midfield presence than goal-scoring. Internationally, he has one cap for Italy’s U20 team.
