Floriana grabbed their fourth win in the YoHealth Malta Premier, and their second in a row, with a 3-1 victory over Żabbar St. Patrick at the Tony Bezzina Stadium.
The first goal came in the 22nd minute when Coelho delivered a free kick into the box, finding Mendonca unmarked, and the latter headed past Camilleri to make it 1-0.
Żabbar equalised in the 53rd minute through a clever run by De Paiva, who caught Floriana keeper Cioletti slightly off his line and fired in a quick shot to bring the score level at 1-1.
Just two minutes later, Floriana regained the lead when Escudero won the ball and immediately passed to Mustapha Jah, who slotted it past Camilleri for 2-1.
The third goal came in the 57th minute, with Grech receiving the ball from Jah and finishing low into the net from close range to seal the win for Floriana.
With this win Floriana moved up to second place in the league table with 13 points, one point behind leaders Hibernians.
