Valletta continued to show their strength in their return to the YoHealth Malta Premier League, with a comfortable 4-1 win over Mosta at the National Stadium on Wednesday night.
Mosta took the lead in the 20th minute with an attack down the left, as Prince fired a low shot past Valletta goalkeeper Maringa.
Valletta equalised in the 63rd minute through a low free kick from Messias, who scored from distance.
Ten minutes later, in the 73rd minute, Valletta went ahead when Radić headed in from a corner on the right.
The third goal came in the 79th minute after a mistake by Mosta goalkeeper Akpan, who kicked the ball straight into Żammit, and it rolled into the net.
Just three minutes later, Mendoza took a shot that Akpan failed to hold onto, and Aldama was quick to finish and make it 4-1 for Valletta.
