Shaun Dimech's stint in Bosnian-Herzegovina might have an early sad end

Despite having announced Malta’s player Shauan Dimech as their new acquisition, FK Borac Banja Luka, Bosnian-Herzegovinian champions it appears that due to unfortunate circumstances beyond the player’s control, Shaun Dimech may be released from his contract and continue his career in Malta.

Although Dimech signed with FK Borac Banja Luka weeks ago, some minor details were still pending to complete the transfer. It seems that Dimech was not included in the squad for FK Borac Banja Luka’s first two matches in the UEFA Champions League.

This setback resulted in Dimech not being able to train with the rest of the team and finding it difficult to integrate into the squad. Both parties seem to agree that dissolving the contract might be the best option.

Dimech might start negotiations to sign for a new team in Malta as early of next week.
