Sliema Wanderers coach Paul Zammit has been named Motors Inc. Coach of the Month for December 2023.
The former Ħamrun Spartans, Rabat Ajax, and Mosta player commend a distinguished career as a coach.
With 431 games, he is the coach with most Premier League matches to his name.
His biggest achievements in his career so far include League champions (4): 2007/08, 2015/16 (Valletta), 2009/10, 2012/13 (Birkirkara).
A one-time FA Trophy winner in season 2014/15 with Birkirkara, also a four-time winner of the Super Cup in 2008 and 2016 with Valletta), in 2013 and 2014 leading Birkirkara in the technical area.
Last season coach Paul led Sliema Wanderers in being crowned National Challenge League winners, and promotion back in the big time, where they are enjoying quite an impeccable campaign thus far.
During December, Sliema Wanderers with coach Paul Zammit at the helm were in action three times, always emerging winners, against Hibernians and Balzan (both 1-0), and a comfortable 4-1 win over Naxxar Lions.
