Eighteen-year-old Brazilian talent of Real Madrid, Endrick, experienced a family tragedy during the Christmas holidays with the sudden and violent death of his sister Lavinia Sudre’s brother-in-law.
The incident occurred this Wednesday, precisely on December 25th, when Maurício Nunes Gonçalves, the brother-in-law of the Real Madrid striker’s sister, fell victim to multiple gunshots at an establishment in the Brazilian capital, as reported by several local media outlets. According to initial investigations, the 38-year-old man was shot multiple times in the head.
Site examinations are still ongoing, as is the collection of witness statements: from preliminary statements given to the police, it appears there was no argument between the victim and the killer, although eight shots were ultimately heard.

Lavinia Sudre, Endrick’s elder sister, paid tribute to her brother-in-law after the funeral: “We bid farewell to someone whose life was ended so cruelly. Today I wanted to post only positive and happy things, but unfortunately that won’t be possible,” she wrote on her Instagram profile.
Meanwhile, there has been no comment from Endrick, who is in Spain, having moved to Real Madrid last summer. Arriving from Palmeiras as one of Brazil’s purest talents, he has played 15 matches with the Blancos so far, scoring 2 goals and already securing a UEFA Super Cup and an Intercontinental Cup.
