Nihad Djedovic signed a contract with Unicaja

After nine seasons, Nihad Djedovic left Bayern Munich and decided to make his debut in the FIBA Champions League.

Accordingly, as the media found out, he signed a one-year contract with Unicaja, with the option of extending the cooperation for another season. Djedovic was a member of Barcelona after two years in Bosnia. He joined the Catalan club in 2007 and then won the ACB League two years later.

He also played for Berlin’s Alba in the 2012/2013 season, until he joined Bayern where he spent nine years.

He was also the champion of Germany three times and won two German Cups. In 2019 he was named the most valuable player in the finals of the German championship. As a note, Unicaja will play in the ACB League and the FIBA Champions League next season, where Djedovic will play for the first time in his career.
