Tim Henman, a British former professional tennis player, analyzed Rafael Nadal’s comeback and compared it to 2017 Roger Federer.
Rafel Nadal is expected to come to the tennis court after a year-long injury. He will make his comeback at Brisbane International, but very few tennis players and fans believe that he will win any major trophy.
Tim Henman in an interview with Eurosport was asked about Rafa and whether he can succeed in following Federer’s footsteps, who won the Australian Open in 2017.
Henman believes that it will be difficult for the Spaniard to achieve a bigger result in Australia:
”Because they are such incredible champions, I think it is possible. I think it is unlikely. I think also add to the fact that Rafa’s great on hard courts. He’s just at a ridiculously different level on clay courts. So I think the hard courts are probably a little bit of a stepping stone.”
