Vasilije Micic is getting closer to going to the NBA, and Efes manager Alper Yilmaz says that the Serbian basketball player has a great desire to play in the NBA league.
The player who brought the team from Istanbul two titles in the Euroleague, and he traveled to the USA a few days ago for negotiations with Oklahoma.
“We are monitoring the situation after the NBA draft. Micic really wants to go to the NBA and has an option for a contract until July 20. We don’t know if he will have any other requests, we are waiting for him.” said Yilmaz.
He also confirmed that Ante Zizic and Clyburn will stay in Efes, as well as Beaubois and Bryant.
The Turkish team will start a new era next season, after the departure of their long-time coach Ergin Ataman to Panathinaikos.
