Former Partizan basketball player Rodions Kurucs will continue his career in Spanish Betis.
Last summer, the Latvian joined Belgrade’s Partizan from the NBA League and was announced as a major reinforcement.
Due to personal problems and bad games, he didn’t even finish the season in the black and white jersey, and this summer he played in the Summer League, hoping for an NBA engagement.
“This summer, my agent and I have already sat down with interested teams three times. Important matches for the national team are coming up and I want to be there. I want to think about the future and not run away from what is happening. I want to play for the national team and recover from Partizan,” Kurucs said a few days ago.
As reported by Sportando, Kurucs will continue his career in Spain, more precisely in the ranks of Betis, where a Latvian and his teammate from the national team, Dairis Bertans, as well as former Partizan playmaker Aleksandar Cvetkovic, also play.
