James Nunnally: We had to repay the fans

Partizan’s basketball player, thirty-two-year-old James Nunnally, was delighted with his team’s game in which they outclassed Virtus from Bologna with a score of 90:62, and achieved their first victory in the current Euroleague season.

Nunnallypointed out that the black and whites should enter every match as they did against Virtus, without respect and maximally aggressive.

“We entered the match very aggressively, we were motivated by great support from the stands. We played excellently in defense and attack, and this match should serve as an example of how we should behave on the court in the future. However, this is only one victory and we are turning to the next challenges,’ said the American.

Against Virtus, he was the best scorer with 20 points, along with 4 rebounds and assists.

“The fans were phenomenal, as always. They put the wind at our backs, and we had to repay them with a victory. We are still the youngest team in the Euroleague, we are still learning how to play with each other in Zeljko’s system, but the dice are slowly falling into place,’ pointed out James Nunnally.
