For the umpteenth time, the Euroleague punished the Red Star basketball club for the behavior of the audience in the Euroleague season.
The Red Star has drawn the attention of its fans a couple of times not to throw small objects on the field.
However, that wasn’t the case in the match with Olimpia Milano, which will cost the club from Belgrade an additional 10,000 euros.
The reason for the punishment was that one coin hit the Latvian referee Oleg Latisevs.
The Euroleague sanctioned the club a total of 68,000 euros this season due to inappropriate gestures by the fans.
They went through the worst in the duel against Bayern when they had to pay 31,000 euros for insulting and spitting at opposing players, as well as throwing hard objects on the field.
