According to BasketNews, the Euroleague intends to change the dates, i.e., to postpone the final four of the strongest European competition scheduled for May 27-29, 2009.
The decision is not official yet, but everything indicates that the Final Four of the league will be transferred from Berlin to Belgrade.
However, due to the busy Stark Arena from May 27 to 29, when the Final Four was originally scheduled to take place, the Euroleague is considering changing the calendar.
According to BasketNews, the tournament should take place from May 20 to 22.
The league officially announced last summer that the Final Four was returning to Berlin. However, due to the COVID-19 protocol, which could cause problems for participants and guests, the Euroleague is considering moving the Final Four to Belgrade.
If that scenario occurs, Berlin will host the Final Four in 2023.
