BROOKLYN OVERCOME THE RAPTORS: Rajakovic's boys fall in the finish

The Brooklyn Nets outplayed Darko Rajakovic’s team, the Toronto Raptors, in their “Barclays Center” and won with a score of 115:103.

A very exciting match took place in the suburbs of New York, where the Brooklyn Nets hosted the team from Canada, led by Serbian coach Darko Rajakovic from the bench, the Toronto team.

After Brooklyn’s early lead, midway through the second quarter Toronto played much better and built a seven-point lead with three minutes left before going into the break.

Then came a series of home runs, which perhaps overcame the game. In the last three minutes of the second quarter, with a series of 15:0, Brooklyn reached a turnaround and a lead of 52:44.

The Raptors broke away during the third period, after which the score was 76:75. The winner was not in sight until two minutes before the end, when Brooklyn again reached 115:100 with a series of 12:0, to make the final 115:103 with Anunoby’s three-pointer at the sound of the siren.

Spencer Dinwiddie was the best in the home team with 23 points, nine rebounds and eight assists. He was followed by Mikal Bridges with a double-double performance of 22 points and 10 rebounds, while Cameron Johnson and Royce O’Neale added 18 points each.

Scottie Barnes, who had 17 points and 10 rebounds, as well as Pascal Siakam, with the same number of points and one more rebound, recorded a double-double for the Raptors. Gary Trent Junior scored 15 points, while Dennis Schroder added one less point, along with nine assists and five rebounds.
