Arsenal Sets Sights on Slovenian Talent: Benjamin Sesko on Arteta's Radar

Arsenal, looking to bolster its attacking options, has set its sights on Red Bull Leipzig’s striker, Benjamin Sesko, as a potential addition during the upcoming winter transfer window.

Following a near-miss for the Premier League title last season, Mikel Arteta’s team is determined to avoid repeating the same mistakes and is currently leading the league table, one point ahead of reigning champions Manchester City.

The Gunners have faced challenges in their attacking front, particularly with frequent injuries to Gabriel Jesus, leading to Leandro Trossard temporarily taking on the striker’s role, which is not his primary position. To address this, Arteta is keen to secure another classic forward to strengthen the team for upcoming challenges.

According to British media, Arsenal’s choice could be Benjamin Sesko, a rising star from the Slovenian national team. Arsenal aims to take advantage of the current situation at Leipzig, where Sesko often comes off the bench, playing alongside Timo Werner, who is also rumored to be close to a return to the Premier League.

This season, Sesko has made 17 appearances for Leipzig in all competitions, scoring six goals. At just 20 years old, he could be the ideal solution for Arsenal, providing a promising alternative to Gabriel Jesus
