SPECTACLE IN MINNEAPOLIS: Oklahoma lost a big advantage in the 'Target Center'

The Minnesota Timberwolves basketball players defeated Oklahoma in their ‘Target Center’ with a score of 106:103.

Oklahoma opened the match in Minneapolis much better and already after the first part reached a double-digit advantage and a maximum of +12. Until the break, the Thunders maintained a high lead and they went to the break more satisfied with a 53:61 advantage.

The problems for the visitors started at the beginning of the second half. Minnesota finally played great defense and allowed the opponent only 17 points in the third period, after which they reduced the deficit to only two points, it was 76:78.

In the middle of the last section, Minnesota reached a five-point advantage, which it managed to preserve with good defense at the end of the duel and in the end won with a score of 106:103.

Anthony Edwards was the best scorer of the “Wolves” with 21 points. He was followed by Rudy Gobert with 17 points and 16 rebounds and Karl-Anthony Towns with 13 points and 10 rebounds.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was by far Oklahoma’s best scorer with 32 points. He was followed by Chet Holmgren with 16 points, eight rebounds and six assists, while Wallace, Giddey and Williams added 10 points each.
