Abraham Vassallo has just returned from Budapest, Hungary, where he was one of the officials at an important international wrestling event. This was the last chance for top wrestlers from around the world to earn ranking points and secure better seedings for the World Wrestling Championships, which will take place in Croatia this September.
Many of the athletes taking part were World, European, and Olympic champions, making the level of competition very high.
Abraham had a great experience during the event. He was chosen to referee several key matches and was involved in six of the seven finals on the last day, serving as the main referee in three of them.
