Roma Polo Club won the King of Spain Cup after a close 8–7.5 victory over Malta Polo Club.
It was a thrilling and well-balanced match that kept the crowd entertained until the very end, as some of the best polo players delivered a great show at the Malta Polo Club grounds.
Malta started with a three-goal lead, but the Italian side slowly closed the gap and eventually took the lead. Patricio Rattagan, an Italo-Argentine player, was the star of the game, scoring all eight goals for Roma Polo Club.

For Malta, Karl Galea scored a hat-trick, Bradlee Farrugia added two goals, and captain Jeremy Besancon scored one.
The match was officiated by umpires Mariano Itturioz and Gaston Etcheberry, with Philip Wismayer acting as the third official.
After the match, the Italian ambassador to Malta, Fabrizio Romano, presented the trophy to Roma Polo Club captain Patricio Rattagan, joined by Malta Polo Club president Matthew Borg and EquestriMalta CEO Max Zammit.
