The Maltese national blackball teams had a busy second day at the 2026 Nations Cup in Gibraltar, with mixed results across different categories.
The Men’s A team started well with a 14-11 win over Scotland, showing good control and accuracy in key frames. They also went on to beat Ireland 16-9.
The Men’s B team had a tough but eventful day, playing three matches. They narrowly lost 13-12 to Northern Ireland in a close game, but responded strongly with a 21-4 win over Mexico. Later, they were beaten 15-10 by Wales.
The Seniors A team also had a mixed day. They lost 13-12 to Scotland in a close match but recovered well with a 16-9 win over Catalonia.
The U23 A team put in a strong performance but lost 14-11 to Wales in a match that stayed close until the final stages.
