Both Maltese teams competing in the 2025 Nations Cup in Bridlington have made it through to the semi-finals.
The Malta Under-23 team secured two important wins—beating England A 13-12 and Wales B 15-10—to collect the points needed to reach the last four. The Under-15 side also got the result they needed with a solid 10-5 win over Wales.
Today, both teams are back in action. The U15s will take on England, while the U23s face Scotland. Both matches start at midday.
In the individual competition, Jake Castaldi moved on to the next round after a 4-2 win over Tom Seaton. Denzel Falzon was unlucky to lose 4-3 against Riley Patterson. Castaldi will now play Bailey Earlston today.
In the doubles event, the pair Nick Muscat and Denzel Falzon were knocked out after a 4-2 defeat to Daragh Carragher and Noah Corkish.
