MHA hosts record-breaking Under-13 Festival
Kavallieri Handball Club’s women’s team won the 2024/25 Louis Borg Cup. After a thrilling 23-23 draw against La Salle Handball Club, Kavallieri claimed the trophy on goal difference following a round in the Malta Handball Association Women’s Handball League.
The Malta Handball Association also organised an Under-13 festival this weekend, with a record 14 teams and 90 players taking part.
MHA President Daniel Tabone expressed great pride in this achievement, saying, “These participants are the future of handball. Thanks to financial support from the European Handball Federation and the Central Government, clubs are able to offer high-quality training in various schools across Malta and Gozo. These players can then take part in events like this to help them develop into top handball players. The MHA is committed to creating the right environment for this growth.”
