Stakes were high in this weekend’s final Under 19 fixtures for the season as Kavallieri HC, Shooting Stars Handball Academy, and Swieqi Wim Services Phoenix all needed a win to secure the trophy. Despite a 29:23 win from Shooting Stars over La Salle Handball, it was Kavallieri who got it over the finish line, defeating Swieqi Phoenix 31:22.
Kavallieri’s campaign in the 2024/25 Under 19 League ends with 4 victories and 2 defeats across 6 fixtures, securing their team’s first title of the season. As the newly crowned Champions, they will take on Shooting Stars in the Under 19 Super Cup that is set to take place on Sunday 27th April at 11:00 AM at the Tal-Qroqq University Sports Hall.
