The Malta Golf Association, in collaboration with the Institute for Physical Education and Sport at the University of Malta, organised a seminar combining theory and practice for students training to become physical education teachers.
The goal of the seminar was to teach future physical education teachers the fundamental skills of golf, using a variety of games and practical exercises that primary and secondary school children can also enjoy and learn from.

The seminar was led by Nick Horrocks, a qualified coach from England.
In his brief speech, William Beck, president of the Malta Golf Association, highlighted the success of the seminar, stressing that the aim is to encourage more children to join the golf academy and ultimately increase the sport’s popularity.
