Scottish golfer Steve Patterson won the Laferla Trophy, a competition organised by the Royal Malta Golf Club last weekend.
Patterson managed to overcome the challenge of Bryan Peterkin and Andrew Naudi who came in second and third place respectively followed by Matthew Mangion and Zhetang Zhang.
Meanwhile in another competition called Laferla 36, it was Phil Denton who emerged victorious who although getting the same score of 74 as Eugene McCooey, he had a superior back 18. At the same time, David Zammit Tabona came in third place.
At the end of the competition, the managing director of Laferla Insurance Keith Laferla presented the trophies to the winners in the presence of the captain of the Royal Malta Golf Club Stewart Davies.
