Tonight, Ħamrun Spartans take on Dynamo Kyiv once again in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League Second Qualifying Round, this time at the Arena Lublin in Poland.
Speaking at the matchday-1 press conference, coach Giacomo Modica said there’s no doubt that after conceding three goals at home, Dynamo Kyiv are a very strong side.
”We are living a dream, and sometimes dreams come with challenges. I expect a strong response from the team, along with signs of maturity, professionalism, and respect for all the work everyone has put in”

Striker N’Dri Koffi also spoke, saying the players have been working closely together over the past month, the team spirit is growing, and everyone is ready to fight together to get a good result against Dynamo Kyiv.
If nothing unexpected happens, and Ħamrun gets knocked out of this round, they will play against the loser from the match between Maccabi Tel Aviv of Israel and Pafos of Cyprus. The first leg between these two in Cyprus ended in a 1-1 draw.
