Liverpool head into their Champions League quarter-final second leg against PSG needing a major comeback after losing the first match 2-0 in Paris.
The six-time European champions are on the brink of elimination and must win by at least two clear goals to stand a chance of reaching extra time. However, they can take confidence from their strong home record in Europe, with many wins at Anfield in recent seasons.
Liverpool did pick up a 2-0 win over Fulham at the weekend, which helped restore some confidence after a run of poor results. They have also produced famous European comebacks in the past, including a dramatic turnaround against Barcelona in 2019.
PSG, the current holders, arrive in strong form and have been unbeaten in several Champions League knockout matches. They have also been winning regularly against English teams and have shown good form away from home.
Key players could make the difference, with Liverpool looking to their attackers to deliver, while PSG’s Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has been in excellent scoring form. Liverpool will be without goalkeeper Alisson, while PSG are missing Bradley Barcola.

With Liverpool needing to attack from the start, the match is expected to be open and high scoring at Anfield.
