As previously reported by MaltaSport, Malta international Alex Satariano has completed his move to Athens Kallithea FC, marking the start of a new chapter in his professional career.
The 23-year-old striker arrived in Athens on Monday, where he underwent a medical, signed his contract, and was officially presented as a player of the Greek Super League 2 club. Satariano was also unveiled in the club’s official gear during a presentation at the team’s facilities.
The former Birkirkara captain brings with him experience from both domestic and international football, having previously played in Italy and undergone trials in Greece in 2022. Despite earlier rumours linking him with top-flight Super League clubs, his signing with Athens Kallithea offers a strong platform to regain form and secure regular playing time.
Based in the Athenian suburb of Kallithea, the club competes in Greece’s second tier and has shown ambition in recent seasons. For Satariano, this move represents both a fresh start and an opportunity to further establish himself on the international stage.
With the deal now finalized, all eyes will be on the Maltese forward as he integrates with his new team and prepares for the upcoming season.
