Atlético Madrid go into the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final against Barcelona with a surprise 2-0 lead from the first match in Barcelona.
Atlético will be confident as they have been strong at home in Europe and have not lost a Champions League knockout match at home for many years. They have also always progressed when winning the first leg away.
Barcelona, however, are in good form overall, with just one defeat in their last 11 matches. They will need to win by at least two goals to take the tie to extra time, following a strong 4-1 win in La Liga at the weekend.
History slightly favours Barcelona in recent meetings, but Atlético have also had success against them in the Champions League.
Both teams have scoring threats, with Atlético’s Alexander Sørloth and Barcelona’s Robert Lewandowski expected to play key roles. Lewandowski has been in strong scoring form in Europe.

Both sides have some key absences due to suspensions and injuries, including Pau Cubarsí for Barcelona and Marc Pubill for Atlético.
Barcelona are expected to attack from the start as they try to turn the tie around, which could lead to a high-scoring match.
