The Italians told Vlahovic: Lower salary or Morata arrives

The media in Italy claim that Dušan Vlahović does not want to reduce his salary at Juventus, which is a condition for the Turin club to extend the contract with the Serbian goalscorer, and if that does not happen, the Old Lady is ready to return Alvaro Morata to their ranks.

The Bianconeri are ready to offer their attacker an extension of the contract that expires in 2026, and according to which Vlahović has 7,000,000 euros per season. The condition for such a thing is that the centre-forward agrees to a salary reduction, which the former Fiorentina player does not want to do, reports “Corriera dello Sport”.

Juventus will meet with the player’s agent, Darko Ristic, in the coming days, but if Vlahovic does not sign a new contract, there is an option to change the midfield in the summer.

According to Tutosport, Juventus is ready to sell its most valuable player, if an adequate offer arrives at the address of the Turin club. And there is no doubt that it will be so, since the Serbian international has long been the desire of numerous European giants.

One of the possible replacements for Vlahovic is Morata, who previously spent four years at Juve and during that time scored 59 goals in 185 appearances.

The Spaniard is under contract with Atlético Madrid, for which he is performing successfully, but he has a clause according to which he can leave the Wanda Metropolitano if someone pays 21,000,000 euros.

His contract with Atletico expires next June, but Tutosport states that an agreement has already been reached to extend the collaboration between the striker and the Madrid club until 2027.

Morata has been in great form this season, scoring 12 goals in 14 appearances in all competitions for Diego Simeone’s side.
